A 這類動詞中最常用的有 ask， decide， discover， find out， for- get，know， learn， remember， see(= understand/perceive)，show+賓語， think， understand， want to know，wonder：
He discovered how to open the safe.
他發(fā)現(xiàn)了打開保險柜的方法。
I found out where to buy fruit cheaply.
我找到了買便宜水果的地方。
I didnt know when to switch the machine off.
我不知道什么時候關(guān)掉機器。
I showed her which button to press.
我告訴她應(yīng)該按哪一個按鈕。
She couldnt think what to asy.
她想不出說什么。
(注意：這種結(jié)構(gòu)不常用于動詞think的現(xiàn)在式和過去式之后，但可以用于think的其他形式之后，或者如上面最后一個例句那樣，用于前面還有一個助動詞的think之后。)
B whether+不定式同樣可以用于 want to know， wonder之后：
I wonder/wondered whether to write or phone.
我不知道應(yīng)該寫信還是應(yīng)該打電話。
這種結(jié)構(gòu)還可以用于表示否定意義或疑問意義的decide， know， remember和 think后面：
You neednt decide yet whether to study arts or science.
你現(xiàn)在不必決定學習文科還是理科。
He couldnt remember whether to turn left or right.
他沒記住向左拐還是向右拐。
C ask，decide，forget，learn，remember 等詞后也可以直接跟不定式。但其含義并不一定相同。
learn how+不定式(=acquire a skill學會技能)：
She learnt how to make lace.
她學會了怎樣做花邊。
如果是相當普通的技能，通常就不用how：
She learnt to drive a car.
她學會了開汽車。
learn+不定式(不帶how)可以有另一種含義：
She learnt to trust nobody.
她信不過任何人。相當于：
She found from experience that it was better to trust nobody.
經(jīng)驗告訴她，誰都不可靠。
同時注意：
I decided to do it.
我決定要做這件事。相當于：
I said to myself，Ill do it.
我心里想：我要做這件事。
I decided how to do it.
我決定了如何去做這件事。相當于：
I said to myself， Ill do it this way.
我心里想：我要這樣做。
I remembered to get a ticket.
我沒忘了弄一張票。(我弄到一張票。)
I remembered where to get a ticket.
我記得到哪兒買票。(我記得可以從音樂節(jié)辦公室買到票。)
