打破固有體制姚明全票當(dāng)選新任中國籃協(xié)主席

Yao Ming, member of Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and former NBA all-star player, was unanimously voted as the president of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) here on Thursday.

奈史密斯籃球名人堂成員、NBA前全明星球員姚明于本周四全票當(dāng)選中國籃協(xié)主席。

Yao, 37, became the first-ever non-governmental personage to take the position at the ninth national congress of the association which was founded in 1956.

現(xiàn)年37歲的姚明在第九次籃協(xié)全國代表大會上當(dāng)選主席，這是中國籃協(xié)自1956年成立以來首次由體制外人員擔(dān)任主席。

The CBA Charter also got revised in the congress, making president the association's legal representative who used to be secretry-general.

本次大會對中國籃協(xié)的章程進行了修改，規(guī)定籃協(xié)主席成為協(xié)會的法人代表，而之前擔(dān)任法人代表的則是秘書長。

As one of the sports icons in China, Yao landed on NBA in the year of 2002 as the first-pick of the draft, playing for Houston Rockets for 9 years and entering all-star games eight times. He also led the Chinese national team to the last eight in 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

作為中國體育的象征之一，姚明在2002年選秀大會上以狀元秀的身份登陸NBA，為休斯頓火箭隊效力九年，八次入選全明星，并在2004年雅典奧運會和2008年北京奧運會上率領(lǐng)國家隊闖入八強。

In 2009, Yao bought the Shanghai Sharks, the CBA club where he played as a teenager. And last year, Yao was elected as the vice president of the newly-established CBA company which was in charge of the league's management and business development.

2009年，姚明收購了自己年少時效力的CBA俱樂部上海大鯊魚隊。去年，姚明被選為新組建的CBA公司的副總裁。該公司主要負責(zé)中國男子籃球職業(yè)聯(lián)賽的管理與商務(wù)開發(fā)工作。

Yao Ming, the newly-elected Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) president, said Thursday that he would sell his shares in the CBA side Shanghai Sharks before next season.

新當(dāng)選的中國籃協(xié)主席姚明于本周四表示，將在下賽季開始前出售自己在上海大鯊魚的所有股份。
