10日，隨著持續(xù)多日的重霧霾消散，藍天重現(xiàn)，陽光明媚，北京市首次霧霾紅色預警解除。
空氣重污染紅色預警(red alert for heavy air pollution)是空氣重污染的最高預警等級(the highest tier of the warning system)。2023年10月，我國將空氣重污染預警分為藍色、黃色、橙色、紅色預警四個級別。
藍色預警為空氣質(zhì)量指數(shù)(Air Quality Index, AQI)達到200以上，且氣象預測未來1天仍將維持不利氣象條件；黃色預警為AQI達到300以上，且氣象預測未來1天仍將維持不利氣象條件；橙色預警為AQI達到400以上，且氣象預測未來1天仍將維持不利氣象條件；紅色預警為空氣質(zhì)量指數(shù)AQI達到450以上，且氣象預測未來1天仍將維持不利氣象條件。
針對此次紅色預警，北京市環(huán)保局建議市民減少戶外活動(reduce outdoor activities)。北京市教委要求中小學、幼兒園及校外教育機構(gòu)停課(suspend classes in all elementary and middle schools, kindergartens and extracurricular training schools)。此外，北京全市范圍內(nèi)實施機動車單雙號限行(traffic restrictions based on even- and odd-numbered license plates)，公務用車(government cars)在單雙號限行基礎(chǔ)上再停駛30%；施工工地停止室外施工作業(yè)(outdoor operations of construction sites are banned)。
