According to TV Asahi Corp., Doraemon, the quintessential Japanese anime cat which first appeared in comic books in 1969, will make its debut in the U.S. this summer on the Disney XD channel。
根據(jù)朝日電視臺消息，日本經(jīng)典動畫中的代表形象《哆啦A夢》機器貓將于今年夏天首次登陸美國，在迪士尼XD頻道初亮相。機器貓的形象首次出現(xiàn)在漫畫書中是在1969年。
The animation series has been broadcast in 35 countries, mainly in Asia。
動畫片《哆啦A夢》已經(jīng)在35個國家播出過，主要是在亞洲地區(qū)。
A spokeswoman at Walt Disney Japan Ltd. said that the U.S. company is excited about the agreement and honored to air the show。
迪士尼日本有限公司的發(fā)言人表示，迪士尼美國公司對此次的合作協(xié)議很期待，也感到非常榮幸可以播出這部經(jīng)典動畫。
Doraemon was created by a pair of animators who went by the name Fujiko Fujio. Its episodes regularly feature the robot cat helping the preteen protagonist of the series, Nobita Nobi, using futuristic gadgets that he pulls out his special pocket。
《哆啦A夢》漫畫由兩位漫畫家使用筆名藤子不二雄聯(lián)合創(chuàng)作，主要講述機器貓從自己的神奇萬能口袋里拿出很多未來的東西，幫助主人公野比大雄的故事。
Some changes will be made for the English-dubbed episodes including the names of the characters and Doraemons unique devices。
此次迪士尼引起的《哆啦A夢》將采取英文配音，并將進行一些調(diào)整，其中包括主角的名字和機器貓的特殊道具。
Nobita will be renamed as Noby in the U.S. series, said a spokeswoman at TV Asahi, which airs the anime series in Japan and handled the negotiations with Disney. Takeshi Goda, Nobitas bullying friend better known as Gian, will be renamed Big G. Suneo Honekawa, another friend of Nobitas, will be simply referred to as Sneech。
朝日電視臺的發(fā)言人表示，在英文版《哆啦A夢》中，大雄的名字會是Noby，老是欺負大雄的胖虎名字會變成Big G，大雄的另外一位朋友小夫名字會變成Sneech。
Dokodemo Door, a device used by Doraemon that allows users to travel anywhere in the world instantly, will be renamed Anywhere Door. Doraemons favorite dish, dorayaki or bean-jam pancakes, will be referred to as yummy buns, according to the spokeswoman。
根據(jù)該發(fā)言人，可以讓人一秒隨意想去哪兒就去哪兒的哆啦A夢道具任意門 被改成了 Anywhere Door，機器貓最愛吃的銅鑼燒則直接被稱為了 yummy buns。
